Post-publication Discussion

IJES : Indonesian Journal of Environmental Sustainability welcomes scholarly discussion of its published articles. Readers may comment on, question, or challenge an article, and authors are given the opportunity to respond.

How to submit a comment

1. Send the comment by email to ijes.uin@ar-raniry.ac.id, with the subject line "Comment on [article DOI]".
2. State your name and affiliation, the specific point you are discussing, and the evidence or references that support it.
3. Keep the comment focused on the scientific content, not on the authors as individuals.

How comments are handled

• The editor checks that the comment is relevant, evidence-based, and respectful.
• The comment is sent to the corresponding author, who is invited to respond.
• Substantive comments and the authors' reply may be published as Correspondence in a later issue, with the agreement of both parties.
• If the discussion reveals an error or possible misconduct, the case continues under the Correction and Retraction or Research Misconduct policy.

Comments on other platforms

The journal also considers concerns raised on public platforms, such as post-publication review sites, when they are brought to its attention and include verifiable evidence.
