About IJES

IJES : Indonesian Journal of Environmental Sustainability is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Center for Environmental Studies, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, Indonesia. It publishes research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews on environmental studies and sustainable development (see Focus and Scope). Two issues are published each year, in June and December.

Since its first issue in 2023, IJES has been registered with Crossref, and every article has a DOI. The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, Moraref, and other services listed on the Abstracting & Indexing page.
