IJES : Indonesian Journal of Environmental Sustainability is owned and published by the Center for Environmental Studies, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, a state Islamic university in Aceh, Indonesia.

Journal identity

Management

• The publisher provides the journal's infrastructure, including the Open Journal Systems platform and DOI registration.
• The Editor in Chief, Dr. Ir. Juliansyah Harahap, S.T., M.Sc., APEC Eng., is responsible for the content of the journal and for editorial decisions. The Managing Editor, Dr. Khairun Nisah, S.T., M.Si., manages the editorial workflow.
• Section editors handle manuscripts in their fields and manage peer review. The full team is listed on the Editorial Team page and the reviewers on the Peer Reviewers page.

Editorial independence and funding

Editorial decisions are made by the editors on academic grounds only, without interference from the publisher or any funder. The journal does not charge authors or readers; its operating costs are covered by the publisher (see Author Fees). The journal does not carry advertising.
