Authorship Policy

An author is a person who made a genuine intellectual contribution to the research and the manuscript, approved the final version, and accepts responsibility for it. Lingkar asks the corresponding author to confirm this on behalf of all authors in the signed Author Statement Form.

Who Is Listed as an Author

Genuine contribution

Everyone who contributed substantially is listed, and no one is listed without a real contribution. Gift, guest, and ghost authorship are not accepted.

Approval of the final version

All listed authors have approved the final version and take responsibility for its content.

AI is not an author

Generative AI tools may not be listed as authors. Their use is declared in the AI Writing Statement (see the Generative AI Policy).

How Authors Are Presented

  • Names are written without academic degrees, with superscript numbers linking each author to an affiliation (institution, city, country, and postal code).
  • One corresponding author is named, with a working email address. The corresponding author submits the manuscript, signs the Author Statement Form, and handles all communication with the journal.
  • Authors submit the manuscript with their names. The editorial office prepares the anonymised version for double-blind review, so authors do not need to blind the file. In the text, authors cite their own earlier work in the third person, as for any other source.

Changes to the Author List

Changes to the authors or their order after submission are made only on a written request to the editorial office. The request must state the reason and be approved by every author, including any author who is added or removed. The Editor-in-Chief decides. Requests made after acceptance are considered only for documented reasons.

Disputes

Authorship disputes are referred to the Editor-in-Chief, who may suspend processing until the authors agree or their institutions have investigated. Misrepresented authorship is handled under the Publication Ethics policy.
