An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah peer-reviewed journal of Arabic, Linguistics and literature studies. This journal is published by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, State Islamic University of Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. which has been registered with the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) for electronics and print with a number: E-ISSN: 2774-7808 and P-ISSN: 2963-8402

This journal contains original research articles, review articles, and brief communications, including: Arabic, Linguistic, LiteratureArabic HistoryArabic Culture, and Philology. An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah is published twice a year, February and August.

As an academic journal, An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah has been accredited by Decree of the Directorate General of Research Reinforcement and Development, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Sinta Rank 4. Since 2020, it has become a CrossRef Member, which means that all articles published by An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah will have a unique DOI number. Manuscript Published is written in English and Arabic since Vol. 5 No. 1, 2025.

The Vol. 5 No. 2 (February) edition of An-Nahdah al-‘Arabiyah presents a wide range of articles, including Peirce’s semiotic analysis in comics, the meaning of love in Jalaluddin Rumi’s poetry, rhetorical and hermeneutic studies of Imam al-Shafi’i’s works, romanticism in Instagram poetry, and the narrative structure of the Netflix series Whispers. This issue also features critical discourse analysis of media, the representation of love in Arabic songs, travel literature in Muhammad Ali’s works, and a study of the classical Qaṣīdat al-Burda. Altogether, the articles reflect the richness of perspectives in Arabic language and literature studies, both classical and contemporary.
