An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab presents Volume 6, Number 2 (August 2026), comprising eleven peer-reviewed articles that contribute to research in Arabic language, linguistics, literature, translation, and literary and cultural studies. This issue explores diverse linguistic and literary phenomena through approaches including semantics, semiotics, sociolinguistics, phonology, Arabic language skills, feminist literary criticism, and postmodernist fiction. The studies examine meaning, language use, social relations, literary representation, translation, and contemporary literary discourse, employing theoretical perspectives such as Umberto Eco's semiotics, Culpeper's theory of linguistic impoliteness, feminist literary criticism, and Brian McHale's postmodernist fiction theory. Collectively, the articles enrich scholarly discussion on Arabic language and literature from linguistic, literary, cultural, and critical perspectives.

The Vol. 5 No. 2 (August) edition of An-Nahdah al-‘Arabiyah presents a wide range of articles, including Peirce’s semiotic analysis in comics, the meaning of love in Jalaluddin Rumi’s poetry, rhetorical and hermeneutic studies of Imam al-Shafi’i’s works, romanticism in Instagram poetry, and the narrative structure of the Netflix series Whispers. This issue also features critical discourse analysis of media, the representation of love in Arabic songs, travel literature in Muhammad Ali’s works, and a study of the classical Qaṣīdat al-Burda.
