OWNERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

KENANGA: Journal of Biological Sciences and Applied Biology is owned and managed under the auspices of Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh and published by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The owner and publisher provide institutional support, manage the online publishing infrastructure, and ensure the long-term preservation and dissemination of published scholarly content.

Journal Management The journal is managed by an editorial team comprising the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Editorial Board, and Editorial Staff. The editorial team is responsible for:

• Managing manuscript submissions and editorial correspondence.

• Conducting initial screening and coordinating the peer-review process.

• Making independent editorial decisions based on scientific merit and relevance.

• Enforcing publication ethics, handling corrections, and managing retractions.

• Maintaining digital archives and publication records.

Editorial Independence The editorial team operates with full editorial independence. Publication decisions are strictly based on scientific quality, originality, and ethical compliance. Neither the institutional owner (UIN Ar-Raniry) nor the publisher (Department of Biology) interferes with editorial decisions, ensuring an unbiased peer-review process free from external pressures.
