AI USAGE POLICY

The Journal recognizes the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly communication. To ensure academic integrity, transparency, and accountability, the following policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and editors.

  1. General Principles

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors remain fully responsible and accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

  • AI tools may be used only as supportive instruments and must not replace human intellectual contributions, critical judgment, or ethical responsibilities.

  • Any use of AI must be transparent and consistent with the journal’s publication ethics.

  1. Authors

  • Authors may use AI tools for language improvement, grammar correction, formatting, translation, and enhancing readability of their own original text.

  • Authors must not use AI tools to generate research findings, fabricate data, create references, manipulate images, or write substantial portions of the manuscript containing original scholarly content.

  • If AI tools are used during manuscript preparation, authors should disclose such use in the Acknowledgements or a dedicated AI Disclosure Statement.

  1. Reviewers

  • Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscripts or review materials into public AI systems that may store, share, or reuse submitted content.

  • AI tools may be used only for limited assistance in language assessment or editorial suggestions while maintaining manuscript confidentiality.

  • Reviewers remain solely responsible for the content and recommendations of their peer-review reports.

  1. Editors

  • Editors may use AI tools to support administrative and editorial tasks, such as language checking and workflow management.

  • Editorial decisions, manuscript evaluations, and ethical judgments must always be made by human editors.

  • Editors must ensure that any AI-assisted processes comply with confidentiality and publication ethics standards.

  1. Disclosure and Transparency

  • The journal reserves the right to request information regarding the use of AI tools at any stage of the submission, review, or publication process.

  • Failure to disclose inappropriate AI use may constitute grounds for rejection, correction, or retraction of a published article.
