Abstract

Bullying, which is defined as aggressive behavior perpetrated repeatedly against weaker individuals, can have a negative impact on the mental and physical health of the victim. Reseach aims to analyze the phenomenon of bullying at SMAN 2 Banda Aceh, focusing on the forms of bullying that occur, and the prevention efforts implemented by the school in preventing bullying. The research method used is qualitative with the type of research (field research), with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results showed that bullying at SMAN 2 Banda Aceh often occurs in the form of verbal, such as taunts and insults, and physical, such as beatings. Factors that influence bullying behavior include seniority, lack of supervision from parents and teachers, and the influence of the social environment. The impact of bullying on victims includes decreased self-confidence, anxiety, and academic problems. In response to this problem, the school has implemented various prevention efforts, such as instilling moral values based on the teachings of the Qur'an, socializing the dangers of bullying, and establishing anti-bullying policies. These prevention efforts are considered effective in their implementation based on data on the decline in bullying cases at SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. And have a positive effect in creating a safer and more inclusive learning environment.

Abstrak: Bullying, yang didefinisikan sebagai perilaku agresif yang dilakukan secara berulang terhadap individu yang lebih lemah, dapat berdampak negatif pada kesehatan mental dan fisik korban. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena bullying di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh, dengan fokus pada bentuk-bentuk bullying yang terjadi, dan upaya pencegahan yang diterapkan oleh pihak sekolah dalam mencegah Bullying. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian (field research), dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh sering terjadi dalam bentuk verbal, seperti ejekan dan penghinaan, serta fisik, seperti pemukulan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku bullying antara lain senioritas, kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua dan guru, serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial. Dampak dari bullying terhadap korban mencakup penurunan kepercayaan diri, kecemasan, dan masalah akademik. Sebagai respons terhadap masalah ini, sekolah telah menerapkan berbagai upaya pencegahan, berupa penanaman nilai-nilai akhlak berdasarkan ajaran Al-Qur'an, sosialisasi tentang bahaya bullying, dan pembentukan kebijakan anti-bullying. Upaya-upaya pencegahan tersebut dinilai efektif penerapannya berdasarkan data menurunya kasus bullying di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. Dan berpengaruh positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman dan inklusif.
