Publisher and Management

Jurnal Sosiologi Agama Indonesia (JSAI) is published and managed by the Sociology of Religion Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

The publisher supports the journal’s scholarly communication, digital publishing, preservation, financial administration, and technical infrastructure while respecting the editorial independence of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board. Decisions concerning editorial screening, peer review, acceptance, rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction are based on academic merit, research integrity, journal policy, and applicable publication-ethics standards.

Editorial Independence

The Editor-in-Chief and authorized editors have independent authority over the journal’s editorial decisions. The publisher, sponsoring institution, financial contributors, advertisers, commercial partners, or other external parties may not interfere with:

  • Initial editorial screening and peer-review assignments;
  • Reviewer selection and appointment;
  • Acceptance, revision, resubmission, or rejection of manuscripts;
  • Publication scheduling and ordering;
  • Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions; and
  • Investigations of publication-ethics or research-integrity concerns.
