Official Announcement: Migration to New Journal Website and Editorial Management System
Dear Authors, Readers, Reviewers, and the Scholarly Community
The Editorial Board of Jurnal Sosiologi Agama Indonesia (JSAI) announces the official migration of its publishing platform and Open Journal Systems (OJS) editorial management workflow, effective from Volume 7, Number 3 (2026).
1. Platform Migration and Institutional Hosting
Due to technical constraints on the university-wide portal and in alignment with institutional sustainability strategies, JSAI has transitioned its editorial hosting from the central university journal system to a dedicated server infrastructure managed by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh.
The new official portal is accessible at:
https://jurnalushuluddin.ar-raniry.ac.id/index.php/jsai/index
All manuscript submissions, editorial screenings, blind peer-review workflows, and production cycles for Volume 7, Number 3 (2026) and subsequent issues are managed exclusively through this new platform.
2. Archival Integrity and Digital Preservation
In accordance with the transparency principles and best practice standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), all scholarly records published prior to Volume 7 Number 3 (2026) are permanently retained, fully accessible, and citable on the legacy platform:
- Legacy Journal Home: https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/index.php/jsai/index
- Legacy Issue Archive: https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/index.php/jsai/issue/archive
All previously assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and publication metadata remain valid and unaffected by this transition.
3. Information for Authors and Reviewers
- Prospective Authors: Please register a new account on the updated website to submit new manuscripts. The legacy site no longer accepts new submissions.
- Editorial Board & Reviewers: Please re-register or activate your profiles on the new platform to facilitate continuing peer-review assignments.
For questions or verification regarding this migration, please contact the editorial office through the contact details listed on the new journal website.
Best Regards,
Editorial Team JSAI
