About the Journal

Al-Ijtima`i: International Journal of Government and Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed academic journal and open access, opened since 2015. This journal is published 2 times of year (April and October) and published online by the end of the month of the edition. All articles published are available online and in print. This journal is published by the Faculty of Social and Government Sciences, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Our main goal is to disseminate current and original articles from researchers and discuss governance issues and various contemporary social and political issues, namely politics and gender identity, digital society and protection, civil society movements, civil society, social development, citizenship and public management, public policy, international politics & security, media, information & literacy, politics, government & democracy, radicalism, and terrorism. Al-Ijtima`'i published since 2015 with E-ISSN: 2549-6921 and P-ISSN: 2476-9029, published 2 times of year (April, and October), and published online by the end of the month of the edition. During this time this journal still published manuscripts in Indonesian. Submissions are open throughout the year.
