An-Nahdah Al-'Arabiyah provides a fair route for complaints about editorial conduct, review procedures, conflicts of interest, publication policies, or the handling of research-integrity reports. Complaints and appeals must be submitted in good faith, with sufficient detail for assessment, to nahdah@ar-raniry.ac.id.
An author may request reconsideration when they identify a material procedural error, undisclosed conflict, factual misunderstanding, or other specific ground relevant to the decision. An appeal is not an opportunity to demand acceptance simply because the author disagrees with reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief or a designated non-conflicted editor evaluates the grounds, may obtain independent advice, and communicates a reasoned outcome.
Complaints involving an editor are reassigned to an independent senior editor or authorized publisher representative. Complaints involving the Editor-in-Chief require an independent handling route through the journal's publisher. Anyone involved in the complaint must not determine its outcome.
The journal keeps an appropriate record of complaints, handles personal information confidentially where possible, and does not retaliate against good-faith complainants. Serious concerns about the integrity of a published article are addressed under the Research Misconduct and Corrections and Retractions Policies, even when first raised as a complaint.
