Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has significantly impacted the fisheries sector in Indonesia, where improved telecommunications infrastructure and mobile device penetration create opportunities to enhance fish farming efficiency. One major challenge is that fish feeding is still done manually, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and risks hindering fish growth if feeding is delayed or missed. This study aims to design and implement an IoT-based automatic fish feeding system using fuzzy logic to improve feeding accuracy and efficiency. The system allows fish farmers to remotely control feeding through an application and monitor pond conditions in real-time. Thus, this automation system can reduce operational costs, increase efficiency, and ensure more consistent fish care. It is expected that implementing this system will simplify fish farming management and sustainably boost fish production.
