This study aims to investigate the relationship between attitudes and motivations regarding the use of pirated software among educators at UIN Ar-Raniry. Data were collected throughout 2021 through the distribution of questionnaires both online and offline. Among the respondents, 41% were male and 59% were female. The reliability coefficient for the attitude variable was recorded at 0.710, while the motivation for using pirated software was 0.693. The findings revealed an R value of 0.652, with an R Square of 0.425, indicating that the attitude factor has a 42.5% influence on the motivation to use pirated software.
