PENERAPAN KAHOOT PADA PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA DI SMAN 1 KEMBANG TANJONG

Chemistry is a subject that many students find challenging in school, it needs engaging instructional materials to keep students' attention. Game-based learning materials are implementable learning materials. In order to boost students' interest in learning chemistry at SMAN 1 Kembang Tanjong, this project will use Kahoot as a game-based learning tool. This study is a particular kind of quantitative study using a single group design. A survey of student interests was the research tool employed. Three classes, XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, and XI MIPA 3, comprising 103 individuals, served as the samples. The data was generated using a student interest survey that was conducted both before and after Kahoot. Based on the analysis of the data from the questionnaire on learning interest completed prior to application, the computed percentage value for the "enough" category was 59.62%. While the questionnaire findings showed that the application had a percentage result of 84.16%, placing it in the "very good" category. Therefore, it can be said that using the Kahoot application to implement game-based learning materials can boost students' interest in learning chemistry at SMAN 1 Kembang Tanjong.
