Author Fees

In light of recent budget efficiency measures and the need to maintain the sustainability of our editorial and publishing operations, we regret to inform you that, starting in 2025, The Journal of Sharia Economics will implement an article submission fee. Please note that this fee applies only to accepted and published articles, and will not be charged at the submission stage.

This decision was not made lightly. We have long strived to provide an open and supportive platform for scholarly work without imposing financial burdens on contributors. However, due to operational constraints, it has become necessary to introduce a modest fee at the submission stage to help cover the administrative and processing costs involved in manuscript handling.

We remain committed to maintaining high editorial standards and a fair peer review process, and we thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Therefore, as part of our efforts to enhance quality and ensure the sustainability of our publication, we would like to inform you that starting from Volume 6, Issue 1 of the year 2025, we will be implementing a contribution fee of IDR 500,000 per published article.

This fee will be used to support the editing process, journal management, and overall improvement of publication quality. We remain committed to providing the best service for both our authors and readers.

This contribution fee is intended to support essential aspects of the publication process, including editorial services, journal management, and the ongoing improvement of publication quality. It reflects our commitment to maintaining high academic standards and providing the best possible service to both our authors and readers.
