This study aims to analyze the effect of Fear Of Missing Out, transparency, and blockchain technology security on sharia investment interest among Generation Z in Banda Aceh City, as well as to examine the role of knowledge as a moderating variable. The background of this research is based on the increasing interest of Generation Z in digital technology-based investments, particularly blockchain, which offers ease of access, transparency, and efficiency in transactions. On the other hand, the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) also influences the investment decisions of young people who tend to be responsive to trends. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 200 Generation Z respondents in Banda Aceh City. Data were collected through Likert scale-based questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The independent variables consist of FOMO behavior, transparency, and security, while the dependent variable is sharia investment interest, with knowledge as the moderating variable. The results show that FOMO behavior and transparency have a positive and significant effect on sharia investment interest, while security does not have a significant effect. Knowledge also does not have a significant effect on sharia investment interest. Furthermore, knowledge is not proven to moderate the influence of FOMO behavior, transparency, or security on sharia investment interest. These findings indicate that psychological and perceptual factors, particularly emotional impulses and information transparency, are the main drivers in shaping Generation Z’s investment interest, while knowledge does not play a significant role either directly or as a moderating variable.
