About the Journal
The Journal of Ar-Raniry Law Review is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law, at the Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Ar-Raniry in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. It is published biannually (twice a year) in April and October. The journal serves as a scholarly forum for researchers and legal practitioners, publishing articles in both English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia). The primary aim of the Ar-Raniry Law Review is to communicate and disseminate original research, current issues, research reports, and book reviews in the legal field. It seeks to present and promote new developments in legal theory and practice, with a particular emphasis on issues relevant to Indonesia and the wider Islamic world. The scope of a law review defines the topics it covers and the types of articles include: International Law; Environmental Law; Human Rights Law; Technology and Intellectual Property Law; Business and Corporate Law; Gender and Law; Race and Law, in the framework of any legal systems and Indonesian, and International legal studies.
