Analysis of Circular Economy Approach of Solid Waste Management in Aceh Tengah

Aceh Tengah district, known as the Leuser region, plays an important role in preserving the environment and improving the economic welfare of the community. To address waste management issues, the researchers aimed to apply the concept of circular economy. By using a qualitative method with a scientific approach to analyse various events, obtaining indirect observation data and indirect interviews and research using triangulation techniques. This concept can be useful to encourage communities to minimize by creating products that can be repaired and have high value, thus having a positive impact on the environment and local economy. It is crucial for the private sector to play an active role in addressing the waste problem in Indonesia. The global business sector has started to utilise the circular economy approach to combat the waste problem. The circular economy focuses on the reduction, reuse, recycling and refurbishment of materials, thereby maximising the use of raw materials and improving economic well-being. Furthermore, by implementing innovative waste management practices, Aceh Tengah can generate valuable and sustainable solutions for the region, the community, and the private sector in line with the changing times

Enhancing Tourism Through Smart Tourism: A Comparison of Aceh and Bali

In the age of digitalisation, tourism must adapt quickly to changing trends and technology. Smart tourism is key to improving service quality and the local economy. However, Aceh still faces challenges of inadequate infrastructure, weak use of digital platforms, and tourism promotion. This research aims to provide recommendations to the Aceh government in improving Aceh tourism through the implementation of smart tourism and Aceh can adopt Bali tourism which has implemented Smart Tourism and Bali's infrastructure is adequate, both for the public, and for disabilities. Bali has also used applications or websites to facilitate tourists visiting Bali. By adopting this digital strategy, Aceh can increase its tourism competitiveness and local revenue. In increasing the number of local and foreign tourist visits, Aceh can improve three things in the tourism sector, namely improving infrastructure, revamping and developing digital platforms, and increasing promotion through digital platforms

The Effect of Aceh Government Spending with Special Autonomy Fund Realization on Poverty Alleviation in Aceh Province

The distribution of special autonomy funds by the Indonesian government to the Aceh government is expected to increase economic growth while reducing poverty in the province, which has long suffered from the conflict. By using multiple linear regression analysis, this paper aims to examine the extent to which Aceh's special autonomy funds (DOKA/Dana Otonomi Khusus Aceh) affect reducing the poverty rate. This paper provided the probabilistic prediction for poverty alleviation, which is explained by variables of DOKA, economic growth, and unemployment rate. After running the data by using R studio, the results show that DOKA and the Aceh government spending affect the poverty level in Aceh province. Also, economic growth affected the poverty level in the same period from 2008 to 2021. However, the unemployment rate as a variable control does not affect the poverty level in the several tests. In addition, this paper provided all predictor variables that can predict that every one-unit increase will affect the poverty level in Aceh province.

This scientiﬁc paper discusses the strengthening of the Inovboyo program (innovation in the city of Suroboyo) to support smart society development in Surabaya as a smart city. The two main research questions addressed are how the Inovboyo program acts as a catalyst for innovation and stakeholder collaboration in Surabaya. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The results indicate that the Inovboyo program has successfully promoted innovation and smart society development in Surabaya. Eﬀective stakeholder collaboration and the utilization of technology for publicity are key factors in the program's success
