Plagiarism Screening
The editorial board of Sanger Journal recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in Sanger Journal will use Turnitin authenticity checking software as a tool to detect text similarities in article manuscripts and final versions of articles ready for publication. A maximum of 20% similarity is allowed for submitted manuscripts. If we find more than 20% similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and resubmission or rejected.
It should be mutually understood that all authors are responsible for the content of their submitted papers as they have all read and understood the Copyright Notice. If a penalty is imposed for plagiarism, all authors will be subject to the same penalty.
