Peran Aplikasi Digital dalam Memahami Makna Al-Quran di Era Kontemporer

Abtract: The advancement of digital technology presents both challenges and opportunities in understanding and applying the teachings of the Qur'an amidst modern social and cultural changes. This study aims to examine the relevance of the Qur'an in the daily lives of Muslims in the digital era by highlighting the role of technology in facilitating a deeper understanding of the holy book. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical analysis of various phenomena related to the use of digital technology, including Qur'anic applications, online learning platforms, and other digital tools. The findings indicate that technology has accelerated access to and dissemination of Qur'anic knowledge, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which increased the usage of mobile applications and online platforms for religious practices. This research contributes by providing insights into how technology integration can enhance the understanding and implementation of Qur'anic values more broadly and contextually in contemporary times.

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang baru dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan ajaran Al-Qur'an di tengah perubahan sosial dan budaya modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji relevansi Al-Qur'an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari umat Muslim di era digital dengan menyoroti peran teknologi dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap kitab suci ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai fenomena penggunaan teknologi digital, seperti aplikasi Al-Qur'an, platform pembelajaran daring, dan alat bantu digital lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi telah mempercepat akses dan penyebaran ilmu Al-Qur'an, terutama selama pandemi COVID-19 yang meningkatkan penggunaan aplikasi mobile dan platform daring untuk praktik keagamaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menawarkan perspektif tentang bagaimana integrasi teknologi dapat mendukung pemahaman dan implementasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an secara lebih luas dan kontekstual di masa kini.
