Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be written in English or Arabic contains 8000 – 12,000 words including text, all table and figure, notes, reference, and appendix. All manuscripts must include an abstract containing 150 – 200 words and supply up to five keywords of brief phrases. Any citation, ayat, and word in local or foreign language should be traslated into English. Only softcopy paper in MS Word format is accepted. Manuscripts should be sent to: paper@journalarraniry.com

Refferal source of citation should be written in the form of footnote and  noticed the characteristic of the reference, such as: a holy book, book, book-bound, translated book, articles in books, article in journals, articles in the website, articles in the print media (newspaper, tabloid, etc), research reports, thesis, disertation, as the example below.

Ar-Raniry: International Journal of Islamic Studies does not charge APCs, shipping cost, or other costs. All the publication articles are free of charge.
