Abstract

Manasik guidance is a fundamental component in the implementation of Umrah pilgrimage services, serving as an educational process to enhance pilgrims’ understanding of worship procedures in accordance with Islamic teachings. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the effect of manasik guidance on the understanding of worship among Indonesian Umrah pilgrims through a literature review approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis of scientific sources published within the last five years, including national and international journals as well as official documents from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The findings reveal that manasik guidance significantly improves pilgrims’ understanding in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Pilgrims who participate in structured manasik training demonstrate fewer procedural errors, better systematic understanding of rituals, and stronger mental and spiritual readiness. Furthermore, manasik guidance enhances confidence, independence, and adaptability during worship in the Holy Land
