Kajian Bentuk Rumoh Aceh Di Desa Rumpet

Rumoh Aceh is a traditional building that is one of the cultures and identities of Aceh. Partly in Rumpet Village, Aceh Besar Regency, there are several Acehnese houses that are still being lived in. Rumoh Aceh in Rumpet Village totals 9 units, and all of them are occupied as residential houses. The problem in this research is how the shape change and typology of the form of Aceh rumoh in Rumpet Village. This research aims to find out how the shape change and typology of the shape of the Aceh rumoh in Rumpet Village. The research method that the author uses in this research is a qualitative method. The author conducted observations, documentation and direct interviews with sources to obtain the data needed in this study. Qualitative research is research that obtains results from descriptive data, based on the results of data collection in the field and interviews, then analyzed, and conclusions are drawn. The shape changes that occur in the Aceh rumoh sample are dimensional changes, and changes with additions. The typology of the form of Acehnese houses in Rumpet Village is rumoh santeut which is one type of Acehnese rumoh and has experienced changes / replacement of new materials, changes in spatial layout, and the addition of new spaces in Acehnese rumoh so that it has changed in terms of the shape of the house. Overall, there are similarities between the five sample houses, namely the same roof shape, having 5 steps, the average height of the door size of the house is 170 cm and the height of the window size is 100 cm with a width of 40 cm x 2 window openings.
