Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the sectors that plays a role in improving the national economy. In the development of halal tourism, especially halal tourist villages in Nusa Village, the synergy of the pentahelix concept is required. This study aims to understand the roles of each actor and the cooperation relations within the pentahelix in developing halal tourist villages in Nusa Village, as well as the factors that hinder this development. This research uses a qualitative method with data obtained from observations, direct interviews with informants, and documentation. The results of the study show that the cooperation relations between the pentahelix actors are not yet optimal, with both internal and external hindering factors identified. However, on the other hand, the roles of each actor in the development of Nusa Village have been very effective.
