The remedial implementation strategy can be implemented by re-learning with different, better methods and media. In this digital era, the potential for using technology in learning is very large. By utilizing online-based learning media, such as interactive learning videos, students can be more actively involved in the remedial learning process. Therefore, researchers want to develop learning media in the form of online-based remedial learning videos. This research is development research that follows the stages of the ADDIE development model. The data analysis techniques used in this research are validation data analysis techniques and practicality test data analysis. The research results showed that the learning videos developed were valid with an assessment of 71% by media experts and 87.5% by material experts, in the good category. Therefore, the process and results of developing online-based remedial learning videos have great potential to become digital-based learning videos that can be used in remedial learning.
Fakhri Yacob, Jusria Pemaranika Br Sembiring, Mukhlis Mukhlis, Ridwan Daud Copyright (c) 2025 Educator Development Journal https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/edj/article/view/6771 Sun, 16 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0800 The The Impact Of Exchange Rate On Debt In The Gambia: A Non-Linear Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/edj/article/view/6873
This study investigates the relationship between exchange rate fluctuations and debt sustainability in The Gambia. Unstable currency rate remains a major problem to countries’ economy especially external debt which The Gambia is faced with. To achieve the objective of this study, we employed non-linear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model to explore both short-term and long-term effect. Our study revealed that exchange rate volatility was found to significantly influence The Gambia’s external debt dynamics, particularly through the reduction of the Gambian Dalasi (GMD) against major currencies, which raises the cost of servicing foreign-denominated debt and strains fiscal resources. The study reveals that a 1% depreciation of GMD increases external debt by 6.6% in the short run, underlining the immediate impact of currency fluctuations on debt accumulation. This research highlights that exchange rate volatility can undermine investor confidence and escalate borrowing costs, and exacerbates debt challenges. In terms of policy recommendations, the study emphasizes the importance of robust debt sustainability analysis (DSA), effective currency management, and export-driven growth to mitigate the adverse effects of exchange rate fluctuations. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers in The Gambia, suggesting strategies to improve fiscal resilience and manage exchange rate-induced economic risk.
Maulida Tarmizi, Nuralam Syamsuddin; Zikra Hayati Copyright (c) 2025 Educator Development Journal https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/edj/article/view/6751 Wed, 12 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Assessing The Influence Of Personalized Learning And Hands-On Science Engagements On Scientific Inquiry Skills Among Early Childhood Care And Primary Education Students https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/edj/article/view/6856
This study investigates the impact of personalized learning and hands-on science engagements on the development of scientific inquiry skills among early childhood care and primary education students. The study employed a descriptive survey design in Anambra state, encompassing 143 participants with different demographics. A self-structured questionnaire underwent validation and reliability testing. Data collection utilized a survey-based approach through Google Forms, ensuring diverse participant engagement and representing Early childhood care and primary education students. The survey incorporated Likert scales for nuanced feedback. Data analysis included various statistical measures, illustrating response occurrences, percentages, and descriptive statistics. The ANOVA methodology tested hypotheses, revealing significant differences among group means. The results reveal that personalized learning significantly enhances critical thinking, hypothesis formulation, experimental design, and evidence-based conclusions. Concurrently, hands-on science engagements contribute to deepening inquiry skills, enhancing problem-solving abilities, and creating memorable learning experiences. These findings underscore the importance of tailoring educational experiences and incorporating practical activities to foster a holistic development of scientific inquiry skills among young learners. The study contributes to the evolving landscape of educational methodologies and carries implications for educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to optimize learning environments for Early childhood care and primary education students.
Umeji Ifeoma Chinyere Copyright (c) 2025 https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/edj/article/view/6856 Wed, 19 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0800
