This article discusses the various benefits and challenges associated with integrating AI into education. By leveraging AI technology, teachers can create more personalized and adaptive learning experiences, uniquely tailored to each student's needs and abilities. In addition, AI can enhance the effectiveness of learning by providing real-time feedback and automated assessments, helping students develop their speaking and writing skills. However, challenges such as data privacy and the need for clear policies must be addressed to ensure the effective and ethical application of AI-based tools. More systematic research and assessment is needed to understand the impact of AI on student learning outcomes and to build trust between teachers and other stakeholders.
Azwir Azwir, Zulkhairi Zulkhairi, Zulhelmi Zulhelmi, Muhammad Yasir, Maulidatun Rahmi Copyright (c) 2024 Azwir Azwir, Zulkhairi Zulkhairi, Zulhelmi Zulhelmi, Muhammad Yasir, Maulidatun Rahmi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/6219 Tue, 24 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0800 The Coherent Approach In Teaching Arabic In Theory And Practice https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/5995
Curriculum organization is a crucial aspect in developing a curriculum to achieve optimal educational goals. One model of curriculum organization that can be applied is the correlated curriculum or correlated learning. This study aims to explore the application of correlated curriculum in formal education in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Participants in this study include teachers, school principals, curriculum developers, and education department representatives from several high schools that implement correlated curriculum. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, using data source triangulation to ensure data validity. Correlated curriculum is an approach to curriculum development where various subjects are interconnected and support one another. This concept aims to show the relationship between various fields of study and integrate knowledge from various subjects so that students can see the connections and relevance between subjects. Although there has been no specific and comprehensive implementation of correlated curriculum in Indonesia, there are efforts that reflect a tendency to link various subjects in the curriculum and learning process, such as thematic integrated approaches in elementary schools and cross-subject learning materials in lesson plans and curriculum frameworks.
Moch. Chiek Oemar Diyan Aceh Besar) https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/5184
In this study, the researcher observed that teachers in Oemar Diyan Boarding only use textbooks in teaching and learning activities, causing a decrease in the quality of learning and leading to a decrease in the quality of education. Therefore, students find it difficult to learn Arabic and eventually find the lesson as a burden. As for efforts to overcome these problems, researchers used the Handout media to facilitate students in understanding the lessons, especially in the mabni and mugrab subjects. The purposes of this research were to find out the product development of an-Nahwu al-Wadhih book in mabni and mugrab chapter with media Handout for second-grade students of junior high school, to investigate the students’ responses to an-Nahwu al-Wadhih on Dhamir chapter with media handout, and to explore the validity level of anNahwu al-Wadhih on Dhamir chapter with handout media according to expert validations. Research and development (R&D) methods were utilized in collecting data. Furthermore, the population of this research was 162 students, however, to meet the objective of this research 28 students were chosen as samples. This research produced a new product that is a book titled “Attaisir Fi Ta'lim mabni and mugrab” After going through expert validation processes. The students’ responses to this new product showed that they agreed to the development of the an-Nahwu alWadhih book in the Dhamir chapter with a media mind mapping making it easier for them to learn. The result is obtained from T-test Sig (.05<.100). This shows that the hypothesis is zero (ho) is rejected and hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, it is evident that the usage of handouts is influential in improving student’s understanding of mabni and mugrab lesson.
Lia Zulfiani, Syarifuddin Syarifuddin Copyright (c) 2024 Lia Zulfiani, Syarifuddin Syarifuddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/5184 Tue, 24 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Barriers to Teaching Arabic Speech: A Case Study for Seventh Grade Students in Public Middle School Gresik https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/5851
Arabic language learning in Indonesia must be resolved immediately because it always faces linguistic and non-linguistic problems. Non-linguistic problems include learning motivation, media, model, allocation, and learning environment. Linguistic problems include linguistic problems such as phonetics, morphology, and syntax. The age of the students and the learning environment determine many language learning problems. This article reviews the obstacles faced by seventh grade students of MTs Negeri Gresik when learning to speak Arabic. This paper uses descriptive analysis through interviews, direct observation, and document collection. After data collection and analysis results identified two main factors that cause this difficulty, one of which is factors outside the Arabic language itself. The results show that similar problems are also common in other madrasahs. Although focused on one school, this study makes an important contribution in understanding the Arabic speaking difficulties that are often experienced by grade VII students, especially in a madrasah environment. This paper can be the basis for Arabic teachers to design more effective and innovative learning strategies to overcome the problems faced by students. In addition, this research contributes to the curriculum development team, especially in terms of determining relevant learning materials and developing learning methods that better accommodate the needs of students. And finally, the results of this analysis can be a reference for future research that wants to explore similar issues in other schools
Lailatun Maghfiroh, Muhammad Afifudin Dimyathi Copyright (c) 2024 Lailatun Maghfiroh, Muhammad Afifudin Dimyathi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/5851 Tue, 24 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0800
