The school only cares about memorizing the material and lack of exercises. Depending on the interview conducted by the researcher, it indicates that some students feel difficult in using inflection in speech, and they need several language exercises. The research aims to develop Kitab Tashrif by Hasan Bin Ahmad Based on Student Worksheet and Inductive Method and its effects on students. The research method referred to research and development used the method named ADDIE. The researcher has conducted interviews, questionnaires, and tests as research tools. The research population includes all students of a junior high school Darul Ihsan Boarding School in Aceh Besar 789 students in total, and 25 students of class III (A) students are samples. This research aims to develop Arabic listening materials in interactive learning applications that could give more positive benefits for students based on five steps; analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation. As a result, the researcher has successfully created student worksheet based on inductive method. It also has received a positive validation score, 62.5% (very good) in the first stage and 86.25% (Excellent) in the second stage. The application has effectively contributed to the development of students' tashrif ability based on the calculation (ttest), which is bigger than the table's results (ttable) or 2,06 < 11,9 > 2,80.
2024-06-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Muthmainnah Muthmainnah, Hilmi Hilmi https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/4916 Developing Tahrir al-Aqwal’s book using the inductive method to improve students’ ability in Arabic Grammar at Bab Al-Maghfirah Islamic College 2024-07-18T12:08:19+00:00 Anita Silviana anitasilviana2000@gmail.com Buhori Muslim buhori.muslim@ar-raniry.ac.id Badruzzaman Badruzzaman badruz.zaman@ar-raniry.ac.id
This book was developed based on data that showed that students were only able to memorize grammar, but did not understand it, and thus the goals of learning grammar were not achieved. This research aims to determine the process of developing the book Tahrir al-Aqwal using the inductive method and determine the effectiveness of the book that was developed. The research methodology used is research and development using the Sugiono model which consists of ten steps. In collecting data, the researcher used observation papers, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The population in this study was all first-grade students at Bab al-Maghfir Islamic Boarding School, numbering 95 people, and the sample was first-grade “A” students, numbering 25 people. Sample selection uses purposive sampling method. Among the most important results of the research, the book was developed through the following steps: 1). Exploring possibilities and problems, by conducting observations and interviews with grammar teachers, the results showed that the students were not able to read and understand the book and the learning objectives were not fully achieved, 2). Collect data using questionnaires to obtain students' needs, 3). Design a new textbook-style product using Microsoft Word 2013, 4). Validation of the product with experts who received a score of 98.88 from the first expert and 80 from the second and third experts,5). Improving the product by making corrections to the book title and color, as well as writing and grammar errors, 6). The product was tested on a small scale, which resulted in the book's development being effective in increasing students' abilities to learn grammar, 7). Improving the product by adding the meaning of each rule according to students’ suggestions, 8). The product was tested in large groups at Bab al-Maghfir Islamic School in the first grade, and results were obtained that learning grammar using the book that was developed was effective in improving students’ grammar comprehension abilities. This was proven by the results of the Sig t test. (2 tailed) 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), 9). This is due to the students' difficulties in grasping the grammatical rules they have learned. The worksheets were developed specifically to address this need. The students' learning conditions were consistently focused on comprehending grammar materials. The research utilized direct observation, questionnaires, expert validation, and testing as tools, and the results obtained indicate that teaching grammar using a worksheet based on the cognitive approach effectively improves students' ability to understand and apply grammatical rules.
2024-06-14T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Azwir Azwir, Ali Basa, Mukhlisah https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/4911 Developing The Teaching Of Listening Skills Using An Integrated Listening Method Based On The constructivist Approach And The Communicative Approach 2024-06-22T12:07:46+00:00 Sarah Munira sarahmuniramustafa@gmail.com Intan Afriati intan.afriati@ar-raniry.ac.id Syarifuddin Syarifuddin syarifuddin.msaman@ar-raniry.ac.id
Learning listening skills still leaves many problems. Among them are problems related to students' limbs, thinking, the application of learning methods, media, teacher and so on. Learning process of listening at Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Islamic Boarding School tends to be passive where the teacher provides istima' material to students through a laptop and loudspeaker and the teacher gives students questions directly without explaining the previous material and providing opportunities for students to discuss and ask things that are not understood. In addition, the listening learning process tends to be boring and uninteresting. Therefore, researchers developed listening skills learning with the integrative listening method to improve students' listening skills. The purpose of this study was to find out how to develop and effectiveness of the developing listening skills learning using the integrative listening method and to find out students' responses to the development of listening skills learning with the integrative listening method. The method used in this research is a research and development method. The results show that learning listening skills using the integrative listening method developed using the Borg and Gall model. Teaching listening skills with the integrative listening method is effective to increasing students' listening skills. Student responses to learning listening skills using the integrative listening method is very good with the positive answer of 92.67%.
2024-06-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Sarah Munira, Intan Afriati, Syarifuddin Syarifuddin https://journal.ar-raniry.ac.id/MAQALAH/article/view/4864 Applying Cooperative Learning Using the Number Head Together Method in Teaching Balaghah 2024-06-22T12:06:35+00:00 Muna Ashila ashilamuna@gmail.com Syahminan Syahminan syahminan@ar-raniry.ac.id Muhammad Ridha Muhammad.ridha@ar-raniry.ac.id Abdullah Abdullah Abdullah.arzul@ar-raniry.ac.id
Based on initial observations made by researcher at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Banda Aceh, researcher found that students consider Balaghah as one of the most difficult subjects, and most students do not master a lot of vocabulary in the book, and this makes students feel bored and do not want to learn it so that the material is not well understood. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of cooperative learning approach with Numbered Head Together model to improve students' ability to understand Balaghah and to know the activities of teachers and students when applying cooperative learning approach with Numbered Head Together model in teaching Balaghah. The research method used by researchers is the experimental method with the "One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design" model. The researcher used direct observation, pretest and posttest as data collection methods. The results of this study are: (1) The application of cooperative learning approach in Numbered Head Together method is effective to improve students' ability to understand Balaghah. Because researchers obtained the results of the Wilcoxon Sigh Rank test showing that the results of the significance level Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.001 which is smaller than the result of the significance level (Sig) 0.05. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. (2) The activity of teacher and students in applying cooperative learning approach with Numbered Head Together model in teaching Balaghah is very good. The researcher obtained a value of P=90% for the observation of teacher and student activities. The value is in the range of 81 and 100% and this result shows that the activities of teachers and students during teaching and learning are very good.
2024-06-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Muna Ashila, Syahminan Syahminan, Muhammad Ridha, Abdullah Abdullah
