Abstract
In the introduction of numbers the child not only knows the symbol of the number or the symbol of the number, but the child is able to know the meaning of the number. But in The Dharma Women's Kindergarten in South Aceh, the ability of children to know the concept of numbers has not developed optimally. The purpose of this study is to find out if Educative Learning Media (ELM) cans Bowling can improve the ability of children in getting to know the concept of numbers at the age of 5-6 years in The Dharma Women's Kindergarten in South Aceh. The sample in the study involved 15 children in Group B1 as an experimental class. The type of research used in the form of experimental research with pre-experimental research design. This research uses one group pre-test post-test design. Based on calculations using t-test statistics, the use of ELM cans Bowling can improve the ability of children to know the concept of numbers as obtained thitung>ttabel or 9.06 >1.761 so that the alternative Ha hypothesis is accepted and H0 hypothesis rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of ELM Bowling can improve the ability of children to know the concept of numbers in The Dharma Kindergarten of South Aceh.
